About the Artist

I was born in Rome, Italy. I began my career as a ceramic artist over 30 years ago in the U.S., after finishing my studies in Business and Banking in
Rome. Growing up in such an ancient city, I have
been constantly exposed to various types of art. I also remember on the Island of Sicily, where I regularly spent family holidays, of my grandparents making daily use of clay vessels for drinking water, and storage for olive oil and wine. I was always fascinated by the simple, fluid and sensual shapes of these vessels. After having moved to the U.S., and while teaching Italian during the day, I started taking ceramic classes in the evenings. It was love and connection to this medium right away. I was hooked! I have over the years exhibited and participated in many solo and group shows. Local venues: Ithaca Downtown Festivals- Art Walk in Ithaca- Johnson Museum Invitational Show sponsored by C.M.C, and for many years the Trumansburg Fine Craft Show.
